EDR - nationwide public safety network in Hungary

Project completed in record time

The nationwide roll-out of the Hungarian TETRA network was completed in 2007 - in one year and one day. This was a great achievement which also had a favourable effect on the network implementation costs.

The project was started in 2006 and completed in 2007. The year 2013 saw the start of the modernization project for the EDR network.

Police and rescue in Hungary

In 2016, the Hungarian government revealed the second upgrade phase for the EDR network.
