Why Tetrapol?
TETRAPOL
The PMR-broadband integrated IP base station
MBS
Tetrapol MBS offers a smooth integration to introduce broadband and IP services to complement Tetrapol.
MBS is compatible with the Tetrapol air interface and existing sites, making it an answer to the immediate need to renew existing Tetrapol installed bases. Its cabinet can house broadband data radio units, allowing you to leverage the radio sites for mission-critical voice and broadband data.
Adopting the MBS helps you save costs by:
- Consuming less power, with 20-25% more autonomy when all channels are activated
- Smaller footprint as it requires less site space
- More reliable
- Less spare parts stock
- Withstands higher temperatures, reducing the need for air-conditioning
- Changes frequency plan remotely
